2 days to go!

Just got to the airport and checked in, I hate this time before I go away. I am sort of in limbo, not deployed but not home. Everything I do for the next 2 days is geared towards deploying, its crap. I hate it. I wish I could just teliport to where I'm going with my bags packed, lol.

Went round and seen my parents today before I went, its always rubbish. I never really know how to deal with it as I don't really focus or think too much about going away, everyone back home obviously does. Maybe I'm just a bit selfish?!

When I get back to camp I have to get my checklist out of all my kit I need (I'm terrible, can't remember anything unless I have an aide memoir) I then have to lay it all out before packing it. Well squeezing it, lol. I have so much kit and so little space. I also have to pay my excess baggage and THEN claim it back, ridiculous system!!!

My baked potato has arrived so more later......
