It’s getting to that time before I go away when I get twitchy and apprehensive. It’s weird because once I'm there I don’t mind and believe it or not I actually relax, well kind of. Maybe just resignation of the circumstances is more accurate, lol.
Got a few last bits and pieces to do before I go, I have got a power of attorney drafted eventually for my Dad and youngest brother so they can deal with my affairs when I’m away. Saves SO much hassle, well providing they don’t sell all my property and raid my bank accounts.... Eek! What a thought, coming back and having nothing left but the clothes I stand in :-)
Off out tonight for a few beers tonight with the guys before I head off, should be good. My youngest brother isn’t drinking though and my other brother is staying in..... Must be getting old, lol.
Off for a weekend of fun and randomness with my gf tomorrow, I have got a few cool things organised so hopefully we will have a relaxing and fun time before I go away. I need something to keep my mind off of things before I go, as I can get quite distant when I don’t have something else to focus on. I am not telling her where we are going tomorrow as I want it to be a surprise, it is weather dependant though. I LOVE teasing her and winding her up just like a little kid.
She gets well excited which is good as it make s me happy seeing her smile. On Sunday its over to her for her part of the fun, I'm off somewhere up north for a day to do something. What that is I don’t know but she loves organising things and making lists so that should keep her happy. To her credit, she always picks things that are just what I need at the time. Can't wait!!!
I'm off to make a brew now..........
